Bryan Held, Independently Accredited Agent

Bryan grew up in Orchard Park New York (this is the home of the Buffalo Bills Stadium) and after successfully completing high school he joined the United States Army in September 1990 as an “Infantryman”. He effectively completed basic training at Ft. Benning Georgia as part of a Cohort unit to serve in the 7 Infantry Division (Light) at Ft. Ord California. His initial life goals were to complete his three years in the Infantry and then switch his MOS to Military Police, then to eventually leave the military with the background of the Infantry and MP and join one of the premier law enforcement agencies of the United States of America. This life goal was cut short by a severe training accident preparing for deployment to Operation Desert Storm.

Prior to creating Bravo Claims Solutions, LLC, Bryan had already established himself as one of the Nation’s most respected experts in the field of Veterans Benefits. Bryan began his career in VA benefits in 1994 working for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). After years of success in every professional position that DAV has from Chapter Service Officer to office Supervisor at various field locations. There, he honed his skills and provided legal representation to veterans and their dependents before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs at the local Regional Offices and continuing on to the Board of Veterans’ Appeals.

His work has helped tens of thousands of veterans access the benefits they deserve including those suffering from conditions such as posttraumatic stress disorder; disabilities arising out of environmental exposures, such as Agent Orange, burn pit and other exposures from Iraq and Afghanistan; Persian Gulf War; and military sexual trauma, just to name just a few. Bryan can relate to his veterans both personally and professionally and is a tenacious Advocate who does not take “No” for an answer to easily. He enjoys a high success rate on behalf of his clients.

Matthew Gump, Independently Accredited Agent

Matt Gump enlisted in the Army straight out of high school. He went right to basic training two months after September 11th. He served 14 years on active duty and four years in the New York National Guard, serving both as a Military Policeman and an Army Recruiter. He completed two deployments, one to Guantanamo Bay where he worked as a prison guard, and the other to Iraq where he worked as a team leader on the protective service detail for the US Ambassador to Iraq.

After his active service, Matt served four years with the New York State Department of Veterans’ Services in the Watertown, NY office. He quickly distinguished himself as the Veteran Representative to go to in his area. He consistently submitted the most claims in the entire state. Matt is adept in his ability to get VA claims approved and has hard time taking no for an answer. During his tenor, he held a 93% success rate at the Board of Veteran’s Appeals.

Matt left the NYS Department of Veteran’s Services to pursue a career at the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs. He started as a Veterans’ Service Representative and was quickly promoted to a Rating Veterans’ Service Representative. Not only did he excel as a VSO, but is trained as a VA decision maker. The knowledge and experience he has while working your claim is high quality and you can count on him to find a way to turn any legitimate claim from a no to a yes at any level of the VA process.

Matt was recently described as “one of the finest advocates with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working. He is extremely intelligent, and he possesses a rare knack for synthesizing laws and regulations into the facts of the case to present a highly compelling argument for his clients. Even more importantly, he is a passionate and zealous advocate who always goes the extra mile — literally and metaphorically — for every client whom he serves.”

Tara Neely, Administrative Assistant
